To the SonderjyskE Supporters: The Most Loyal Fans Ever.

I would like to say to you all, that my 8 years and 4 months in SonderjyskE have been memorable moments.

It is a time I will cherish and take with me the rest of my life.

I remember when we arrived in December a few days before Christmas 2004 to the last place hockey team in DK, and being told, by board members that the Team has really no chance of making the playoffs so what we would like you to do is play all the players, and this way they could evaluate the players for the following season, and see how I fit into the Organization.

That may have been good for them, but I love winning and I wanted to win and try to catch Esbjerg for the last playoff spot, most importantly the players bought into what I believed they could do, and they started to WIN, and win we did and we beat out Esbjerg for that last and final playoff spot!

The rest is in the history books, Vojens/SonderjyskE’s 23 year drought since its last Gold Medal was over and we have had 8 straight seasons of WINNING in season SonderjyskE.

All of this could not be accomplished without your un-denying love for YOUR Team!!! The support we have received in the years I have been here are matched by no other Supporters Club in DK. To Our DIE HARD FANS, yes those of you have followed us year after year on our away games, RESPECT for your DEDICATION to the TEAM.

Thank you for singing my name in one of your songs, I don’t know how many coaches, can say that they have had that HONOR. I am proud of what our Teams have done these last 8 years.

Maybe I will be back again one day in SonderjyskE.
